Remarkable Women Project
March 6, 2025: Global Summit
Join us in Dublin on March 6, 2025, for the 2025 Global Remarkable Women Summit. Jill Doyle, a RWP advisory committee member and the founder and a director at The National Performing Arts School established 30 years ago in Dublin, is working with the Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre. The Centre will host remarkable women from Ireland, America, England, France and Finland among others.
March 6th is two days before International Women’s Day on March 8th.
Five euro of the 15 euro registration fee will be donated to the Centre which supports a variety of programs and services for families, women and children. Look for the event on Eventbrite or click on the link on the homepage of this site.
A highlight of the Summit is an interactive lunch time presentation about remarkable women in history presented by Alice Look, co-founder of the Remarkable Women Project and author of Remarkable Women: Reclaiming Their Stories and Nuala O’Connor, one of Ireland’s most beloved bestselling author of historical fiction about women including Nora Barnacle Joyce in her best-selling novel Nora and Seaborne, the remarkable true story of Anne Bonny, Ireland’s most famous female pirate.
Remarkable Women Project board member Judy Guillermo-Newton will conduct a morning workshop on “What Makes a Woman Remarkable?”
Jill Doyle and RWP co-founder Jane Applegate will co-host the program. Other speakers are to be announced.
Jill’s brother, Eric, is sponsoring our lunch. We are seeking donations of additional refreshments and gifts for our RW Summit tote bag from local small business owners and corporation.
The afternoon program includes a Celtic Meditation session and a performance by Ringsend Glee, a choir.
